About Ro

Designation:
Practitioner

I work with those that identify within the ethos of trans*, genderqueer, intersex, two-spirit, and non-binary.

I seem to have spent much of my life cultivating resources to re/align with pleasure and connection as resourcing in the face of harm and loss. I've embraced gender creativity as individual practice for the purpose of gender liberation. And I'm passionate about courting the erotic as self love, making me less willing to accept states of being that are put upon me (e.g. shame, self-effacement). I am dedicated to fostering understandings of multiple truths and a deep regard for appreciating the beauty of complexity.

My care offerings are within a space of increased safety, comfort, and confidentiality is informed by my own experiences of sexual and gender-based violence. My work in grassroot community building through consent practices and erotic touch, is the keystone to my practice. Principles of trauma informed care and harm reduction have fostered in me a value of attunement to others’ needs and desires.

I currently live in Tiohtiá:ke (colonially known as Montréal) on the lands of the Kanien'kehá:ka within the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. My experiences have been deeply influenced by cultures in the US South and Oakland, California. My ancestors are primarily of Jewry descent from Belarus and Budapest, as well as Lutheran settlers from Scotland and Wales.
